Coming to Cambodia help
Coming to Cambodia help
My fiancee is planning to come to Cambodia next month for long-term/permanent stay. I've spent loads of time trying to find succint info on current procedures, such as pre-flight Covid test result documentation needed, option to select quarantine hotel location, rather than being assigned a location, opting out of quarantine location's food program, visa types available upon arrival, to name a few.
I recall reading one person's account who arrived in the last month or so, but damned if I can find it now! So many fricking Covid threads, but I'm not interested in market lockdowns, death tolls, infected rates, quarantine escapees, etc.
I would be incredibly grateful for anyone who can either provide: 1) accurate information about these matters, 2) a website that has this information nicely summarized, 3) the most applicable thread on CEO, or 4) their own recent personal experience in this regard.

Like sousadeyy said but, your fiancee probably isn't going to be allowed here. I hope they enjoy the embassy visits!

Re: Coming to Cambodia help
The Hardest part about travelling to Cambodia is getting the visa
There are NO tourists visas being issued, NO visa available on arrival
How will she get a visa?

I know of a great job she can get in Sihanoukville but you won’t see her for six months. PM for details.

Most Cambodian Government/Embassy websites, including the MoFAIC website, as well as foreign Embassy websites, airlines, and personal blogs are still displaying outdated and incorrect information.

Cambodia's land and sea borders remain closed to entry of foreigners without the necessary authorisations, but you can still fly in to PP or Sihanoukville if you meet the requirements below....

(*Taiwanese passport holders are eligible to apply for the E-type (Ordinary) Visa online at evisa(dot)gov(dot)kh )
2. All Passengers must have an original printed medical certificate/lab report indicating a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result issued at most 72 hours before departure from first International embarkation point. Must be original (not copy), must have wet ink signature & stamp.

- This does not apply to passengers with an A (Diplomatic) or B (Official) -type Visa issued by Cambodia.
4. All General foreigners must deposit USD $2,000 at a designated bank on arrival.
- This does not apply to nationals of Cambodia travelling on a Cambodian passport, or foreign passport with K-type (Special) Visa.
- This does not apply to passengers with an A (Diplomatic) or B (Official) -type Visa issued by Cambodia.
5. Passengers are subject to medical screening on arrival and mandatory quarantine for 14 days minimum at a facility allocated by the MoH.

Whoops, too late to edit...disregard Sokha, its Himiwari only.

Because they can only pre-book the Himawari, not Sokha.
