Gas Cannister Explodes in Toul Kork Rental Rooms
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On July 12, 2021, at 10:15 am, on Street 118, Bram village, Sangkat Depo 3, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh, a rental building belonging to Ou Sam At, a 67-year-old woman, caught on fire after a gas cannister exploded, burning down two rental rooms. Fortunately, there was only material damage caused by the fire and nobody was injured or killed in the incident.
Very soon after the fire erupted, 5 trucks of Phnom Penh firefighters came to the rescue and they had put out the fire by around 10:25 am.
The firefighters confirmed that the cause of the fire was a gas explosion from the house.
