Man Drowns Picking Water Lilies
Cambodia News (Kompot Province): On July 7, 2021, at 4:40 pm in Our Slaeng village, Kompong Trach district, Kampot, a 46-year-old man was found dead in a pond where he had gone to pick water lilies for cooking.
According to the victim's wife, her husband went into the pond for so long that she had to come to look for him, however, she saw his shirt at the bush by the pond and called for help from her neighbors. They later found his body, and his wife said that he was an alcoholic and regularly drank all day.
After the autopsy, it was confirmed that the man died from drowning.
