Cambodia News, (Siem Reap): Colonel Nop Sarak, Deputy Commissioner of the Siem Reap Office of Serious Crimes, said that at 22:05 on July 5, 2021, at Pring village, Chikreng commune, Chikreng district, Siem Reap province, there was a murder case at Pring commune.
The prime suspect was a farmer called Chin Vanna, male, 18 years old, who was drinking with the 2 victims: the first victim - Rin Leap, male, 26 years old, farmer, the second victim 2-Name: Run Dong, Male, 21 years old, Occupation: Farmer, Both of them live in the above-mentioned village.

While drinking, the suspect, Chin Vanna, started to get angry with the two other men and he stabbed them both with a sharp knife. He then ran away to hide. The two victims were taken to the hospital by relatives halfway through the night. The victim Run Dong died in the hospital, and Rin Leap was seriously injured and is still being treated.


After the incident, Lt. Col. Sok Meng Eang led a joint force with the Chi Kreng District Police Inspectorate to search for the suspect Chin Vanna and at 16:00 on July 6, 2021, they arrested the suspect who was hiding in the forest in Thnal Dach village, Sangvei commune, Chi Kreng district, Siem Reap province.

After the arrest, the suspect confessed that he stabbed the two men because he was angry. The suspect is currently being held in custody.
