Apparently he pretended to be some enlightenment guru named Jed McKenna, and even started his own forum pretending to be him.

Sounds like he started taking people's donations while pretending to be this Jed McKenna character, and eventually some donors tracked him down in Cambodia to confront him.

It seems some in the enlightenment community still believe he's the author of these enlightenment books and think the forum he started is by the actual author he's pretending to be.

One of his last posts on his forum is saying he caught Covid:

And a final post saying it wasn't Covid, but that he was still recovering from whatever it was:

German shepherds aren't a bad breed, more of a rottweiler guy myself but I can't fault him for loving the breed
