Man Saved After His Third Suicide Attempt

It would be encouraging to think that this man will finally get the help he needs at long last, but unfortunately, there is little support available through public health for those who are poor and in a poor mental state.

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On July 6, 2021, on Street 63 in Sangkat Phsar Thmei 3, Khan Daun Penh, a drug addict, who attempted to kill himself three times, ended up in hospital.
First, he attempted to jump off O' Russei market roof, but was stopped and saved by the security guard. The second attempt was to jump off another building onto a stationed car near Kandal market, where he fortunately survived and was rescued by the police, suffering a leg injury. The last attempt was on Street 63 where he stabbed himself, yet miraculously, he survived again, but sustained a serious injury. He was rescued and taken to an emergency hospital.

I've never quite understood why people feel it's their business to intervene in the life of another, especially when he doesn't want them to. It's just people always thinking their way is better for him, when they can't possibly know.

If he's that determined, get out of his way!
