Athlete Pen Sokong vows to break Olympic record in Japan

Pen Sokong, a 28-year-old national athlete national athlete, is highly committed to physical and mental fitness, and he's set to break a new personal record at the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020, which is scheduled to officially run from July 23 to August 8, 2021.
Athlete Pen Sokong, who is ready to compete in the 100-meter sprint, is effective in training in 10.87 seconds. The Cambodian athlete also achieved a time of 10.87 seconds at the 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines.
"This is my first time competing in the Olympics," said Pen Sokong. This time it was the highest technical level in the world, but more importantly, I was determined to do my best. Those who have trained to be worthy of the opportunity, encouragement, all kinds of support from the leadership of the Khmer Federation of Voluntary Athletics Committee National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
The Pursat-born athlete is intensifying his training by training 4 to 5 hours a day, 5 days and a half a week, focusing on basic training techniques, strength, fitness, running and so on. Pen Sokong added, "No matter what the outcome of this world-class competition is, I am working on a performance record, and it is also good preparation for the SEA Games in Vietnam at the end of 2021, and especially the goal of preparing to compete in the 32nd SEA Games 2023, hosted by Cambodia ”.
