Drunk Chinese Driver Does a Crash and Roll in Borey

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On June 29, 2021, in the New World 3 Borey, in Khan Kombol, an unidentified Chinese man was seen driving a Toyota RAV4 (Phnom Penh 2L-1224) very fast down the street in the residential area before he lost control of his vehicle.
The car went off-road into the ditch breaking the front wheels, crashed and then overturned several times knocking the driver unconscious. The traffic police confirmed that the accident was caused by the Chinese man himself who was driving under the influence of alcohol.

However, since no public properties were damaged and nobody was injured, the police allowed the vehicle to be towed away by the owner to get it fixed himself.

Does it means that the guy had not even a slap on the wrist for driving like an assassin, because nobody & nothing got hurt only by sheer luck ?

It makes one wonder about the outcome of such incidents like these! No worries, no one has been hurt, or killed in your ability to keep four wheels on the road, sleep off the alcohol and get your car fixed. Tomorrow is another day and when he is driving again, people may not be has lucky.

Yes seems fair.

But it's unfair when people actually be hurt or killed and the matter is solved with money. That's when the punishment should be severe.

He should get high fine for driving under influence of alcohol so maybe he will remember not to do that again
