Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! This? I would love to swap my blue handwritten one for this more official-looking one. Plus... the guy who wrote my name on the card misspelled my given name.

Exactly. Need to track down where they are being issued.

So, the old handwritten ones are just temporary cards? I know a girl who got both her jabs in Daun Penh and didn't even get an old card, she has to collect her new one at some point in the future.

How the hell do you track down where your one will be available for collection, or do you go along at a location and they then produce it?
That's the bit I'm not clear on. I couldn't find the post about the collection points here or on FB, but I'll have another look. Anyway you need to wait about four weeks for them to be ready.

Sure, they are busy with issuing new style cards for the latest crop of recipients, and the old style ones will need to be caught up with.

I'm not on Facebook so you're in charge of searching there.

I wonder if @PSD-Kiwi knows the answer?

The printed ones were for the military, and changed to handwritten for additional info required, hence lamination not recommended, but not world-ending. You are also going to need booster shot/s and I reckon mixing vaccines will be the go for efficient immunisation. The vaccination process is not over. I have already checked out how to get a different vaccine, as well, and when.

I got a phone call telling me my card was ready and to go to where I got the jabs. All good, except they put the wrong date for the 2nd jab so the issue date for the card pre-dates the date of the 2nd jab, I can see that causing a problem down the line...

Did you ever get issued with the old handwritten one or is this your first card?

I'm trying to establish if they intend to replace the original automatically or I have to go and force the issue.

My current understanding is that these cards are being issued by different ministries:

People vaccinated by the RCAF are first being given a sheet of paper, followed by the white card (MOD logo) a few weeks later.
Folks who are being vaccinated under the MOH receive the blue card, usually at the time of vaccination.

OK I knew I'd seen it somewhere. It's not an exhaustive list though, probably just the earlier vax locations that finished a month ago with cards now ready:

Where to get your photo cards

https://www.khmertimeskh.com/50882869/e ... -released/

My understanding is, however, you should wait for a phone call to collect your card.

"Citizens who have not received the Vaccination Cards are invited to receive the Vaccination Cards at the locations designated below."

Looking at the list, all the contacts are members of the Armed Forces.

I hope I am wrong (photo card would be nice), but I believe this list is only for folks who have received a paper and no card.
