Hi Admin, Sorry if this is not the correct procedure, but I did use the 'CONTACT " form but have not received a response.

Hi, I have enjoyed many threads here and found them informative and
helpful especially in some banking issues I've had. However I do not think
I am suited to this forum, I would have opposing views on too many other
subjects and feel it best if I close my account. Please close/ delete my
membership to the forum.
Thank you Frankl
Please delete /deactivate my forum membership account. Thanks

Personally I would simply log out, remove it from any favourites stored, delete the cookies and get on with my life.
However, it is interesting that there is no 'delete profile' option in the settings, which I'm always a little suspicious of.

You can go to "change password", then look away from the keyboard and roll your knuckles across the keyboard so you don't know the password, then log out. Unless you are a prolific poster nobody will even notice that you have stopped, and there's no drama.
