I did what you did, EB after EB without documents or work permit until I needed a document from the Cambodian government and legal documents were required to obtain it.

I guess the notion of digital nomadism also applies to migrate one's interest to more exciting digital shores.
Isn't it a bit sad to see how the covid tide pulled away most of the shiny stuff coming and going in the forum shore, and how what is left is basically some rocks with crabs in their cracks and a few seagulls to shit on it ?

I would extend then usually over stay for 2 to 4 weeks (pay over stay) fly to Thailand or Malaysia then come back and repeat with no problem.
