A thought for those wearing Covid-19 protective suits

A man is reported to have fainted from heat after he put on a Covid protection suit to say goodbye to a loved one who was being cremated. So, spare a thought for these workers that often spend hours on end in these suits in the heat. They are real heroes.

Cambodia News, (Kampong Speu Province): According to the publication of Phnom Sruoch District Administration, Kampong Speu Province on May 7, 2021, it is said that a relative of the corpse of a patient who died of Covid-19 wanted to show his love and say goodbye for the last time. So, with the permission of the doctor, the man donned a high-level protective suit to attend the cremation ceremony at the pagoda, but in less than two hours, he fainted.

The above case happened in Wat Treng Trayeung, Phnom Sruoch District, Kampong Speu Province at 2:00 pm on May 7, 2021.

According to the Phnom Sruoch District Administration, the reason why the man fainted was because his clothes were hot, the air was difficult to breathe, and he had to wear many layers, which made it easy for him to faint.
