They have been doing this around my area of TTP for 2 days - no reported cases so far. It's random. In the riverside area the songkat apparently wants one person from every house and every shop in the area to test for the delta variant. A sort of random sample to assess the general level of delta infection I guess...

Still sticking to this fiction, I see. Can't use the Chinese hookers as your scapegoat for Delta cases.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Sat Sep 11, 2021 2:40 pm
According to a press release of the Ministry of Health, 160 of the new infections were imported and the rest were linked to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
Meanwhile:
Cambodia’s vaccination campaign which stated in February 10, reached a seven months milestone yesterday with 97.03 percent of the total of 10 million adults targeted to be inoculated against COVID-19.
After 41 days of vaccinating adolescents aged 12 to 17, Cambodia has inoculated 1,703,819 youngsters of the targeted 1,966,931 people in the targeted age group.
^^source: KT via FB.
So that just leaves around 600,000 people to get the jab and everyone over 12 will be fully vaccinated, if the numbers are to be believed. Still a massive effort, very well executed.
NB: their numbers refer to people having had at least one shot. So 600k need to have two shots plus a bunch more needing their second shot.
