The ordinary folk get raped, robbed, and murdered. Those that NEED them NEVER get them. Especially before they are violently killed, raped, or injured.
The things you describe are a dystopian nightmare. constantly.
I refuse to believe you live in the country that ANY of my American friends come from.
Same about Cambodia. and not to mention the China rants - undisguised hatred. and hence blind.
Come back to planet Earth.
Find some of those wild Texas roses and stick you whole face in them, my friend.
You neeeed a put a bit of sunshine and joy in your life.

Turns out, the rich, powerful, and politically well connected get the licenses. And they are also accompanied by armed bodyguards and security as well.
The ordinary folk get raped, robbed, and murdered. Those that NEED them NEVER get them. Especially before they are violently killed, raped, or injured.
Why? When the person issuing the licenses is your personal friend, then guess who gets the licenses? The person issuing the license determines what constitutes NEED and what hurdles have to crossed - psych evaluation, income threshold, political affiliation, etc. to obtain a license. Cronyism at it’s best.
Sounds like anyplace we know?
Confiscate firearms in the name of public safety?
The City of New Orleans did just that after the hurricane. Went house to house. Confiscated ALL the firearms the owner had in the name of public safety. Robbery gangs then followed the police, and robbed all the houses that had their guns taken from them.
The government doesn’t even bother to catch undocumented illegal aliens. Yet such a fetish about undocumented guns?
Who determines if a firearm is documented or undocumented? The cops on the spot will just take them all, and then let ‘the system’ just sort it out. It’s always human nature to take the quick and easy way in a complicated, messy situation.
Always easy to say.
This my 10 Riel though.
HOW< if there undocumented, how would they find them? enter ever home and search>|Confiscate undocumented firearms

you have a serious fucking weird attitude on people, i feel kind of sorry for you...
getting guns and drugs in america is as easy as buying a loaf of bread
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I'm talking about the fascination with gun deaths in America compared to Mexico or Brazil, there has to be 500 threads on this forum about shootings in America, hardly any for other countries, even when there is, conversation turns to shootings in AmericaBig Daikon wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 4:49 amBit harsh. It's a violent fucking world, it's nothing new under the sun, I assume everyone live a peaceful life, but it's not in the cards for everyone.

Well, that has to do with standards and expectations. The US is (was?) seen as a developed, prosperous nation.Seasquatch wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 6:50 am I'm talking about the fascination with gun deaths in America compared to Mexico or Brazil
