Barang Twat Posts Selfies of Curfew Breaking Kampot

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

'He owns a business' hahaha I bet his business is financially finished, covid did not help these type of 'business owners'.

Clearly just a drunk fool, if he has dependants I hope they're ok.

I think it's because he posted it on FB.
posted on facebook and then someone who didn't like him reported it. The government doesn't pay people to look at facebook all day. There's plenty of people that have it in for others that report these things for free

What you say could be. But he posted it on Kampot Noticeboard which has at least one, maybe more, policeman as member.

Makes it doubly stupid, this stunt, no?

This. I know a couple of policemen in Siem Reap who are plenty sharp and speak better English than some of the foreign "English teachers".

And some are fluent in French. I assume some are in Thai or even in Viet ? I'm afraid there might even be better average foreign language fluency here with some cops than in some other western countries, who knows ?

French cops still mostly suck at English, i can tell you that.

 It is really quite surprising that someone who owns a business and has a family to think about would not be aware that social media is monitored...
