O'Dear, looks like the information was right but the facts were wrong. He was drinking coffee.
Coffee or "coffee"

All jokes aside, if you can't get a beer in the city at the moment then you clearly don't know your way around the city

If the Kingdom was serious about an alcohol ban, it could just order a shut down of the breweries. But instead, the beer factory has been churning out product non-stop.

New Kid is getting real old.
What is the "hate Cambodia" thing you are pushing?

It is a perfect government. Alcoholics have an addiction problem. It works
perfectly to let them have a little so they don't go crazy. Most people support
whatever the government says, so they are not drinking alcohol.

On another thread you were crying about the stock exchange not sanctioning a
company that was not even listed on the exchange.

Have you seen the size of the brewery at Choueng Ek? You can't just shut these things down, it's not a bakery.

Is there a ban on the sale of alcohol, or a ban on operating any business officially classified/licensed as an alcohol shop?
Unlike the ban around KNY, most small places are selling quite openly while large outlets have stopped - although Thai Huot on cnr 63/398 was happily selling yesterday afternoon. My regular place still sells to me by the case and lets me cycle off with it in full view.

That would seem how most small businesses are interpreting it this time around. I have had no issue sourcing alcohol during both bans, though it is definitely easier this time around. Restaurants are certainly not as strict as before.
