Alcohol Sales Banned/No dining-in - PP

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

It is the biggest loss, believe it or not, that I can't walk to the gym and then a swim afterwards. So healthy and beneficial and fills a few hours in a good way. Walking is ok, but it's so bloody hot and the roads are busy again which makes it so unpleasant.

Does anyone know if there are any sneaky ones open? PM me if you like.
Mate any luck???lack of gym is fucking killing me
I goto a small khmer gym and have done throughout covid. Shutters are down but you go in round the side. Its just off the corner of russian boulevard and street 2004 up near the airport. You have to show your vaccination card showing you have had both jabs the first time you go.

It's much too far for me to go. The vax card is going to be the only way into the places once they are open.

Time to hit your local bottle shop and stock up, :beer3:
Mind you a couple of weeks off the piss wouldn't hurt, although I've just had 2 months off the piss and don't feel any better for it.

Where the hell did this come from? We have seen numbers falling with local infections consistently below 500.

I know we don't believe the numbers but why have they suddenly fucked up all the restaurants again?

The alcohol ban must follow soon.

Buggers up my Friday consultation appointment over liquid refreshments, and I can see that curry night might get postponed!

Yes and no. There is a ban on gathering for alcohol, but not on alcohol itself. But that could change.

Royal Goverment orders bars closed as ‘gatherings of people for all kinds of alcohol’ are closed for 2 weeks as part of new campaign

The staff here are used to the barang manager wandering out at 9.30-ish to get a coffee, they're not so used to seeing him take the office trolley with him and returning with 3 cases of Cambodia as well as the cappuccino
