To add to that quote Anchor Moy, you may not see a Anchor delivery truck running around the city, but what you will see is that in the countryside the homebrew whiskey stills are working on overtime due to demands. Their are some who see profit in supply.Anchor Moy wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 11:31 pmWell, as long as there's some Klang.AndyKK wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 9:53 pm There seem to be some shops out there selling beer according to members who have witnessed this themselves, like the local shop near me, is now out of all brands of beer that they would normally sell daily. But I would imagine, like the shopkeeper said to me, it's impossible too get restocked by the brewery.

but you will see the drink carts with water and soft drinks stacked around the outside. all the drinks come from the middle, and they're not water or soft drinksAndyKK wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 5:26 pmTo add to that quote Anchor Moy, you may not see a Anchor delivery truck running around the cityAnchor Moy wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 11:31 pmWell, as long as there's some Klang.AndyKK wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 9:53 pm There seem to be some shops out there selling beer according to members who have witnessed this themselves, like the local shop near me, is now out of all brands of beer that they would normally sell daily. I saw a Cambodia Beer truck the other day, and found myself scanning how many guys were in the front to see if I could take them.AndyKK wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 5:26 pmTo add to that quote Anchor Moy, you may not see a Anchor delivery truck running around the city, but what you will see is that in the countryside the homebrew whiskey stills are working on overtime due to demands. I saw friend"s photos on FB, dining in in Sofitel obviously allowed. I drove down the stinky canal road today and I saw 2 street eateries with Khmer sitting at the plastic chairs/tables eating their lunch. So dinning in ban yes or no?

Sofitel and Palace Gate are fine. Probably many more of the top end are doing the same with their pools and gyms open. I know Palace Gate has been at it for a while.
Casual khmer open air dining are opening and having a go and nobody seems too troubled
Small Western owned bar/restaurants are still in limbo, but this weekend might throw up a big surprise with doors reopened and booze allowed.
