Phnom Penh Authorities Continue Administrative Measures against COVID-19 to Oct. 7
AKP Phnom Penh, September 22, 2021 --
Phnom Penh municipal administration has decided to extend its administrative measures for another 14 days, from Sept. 24 to Oct. 7 in order to combat and prevent the spread of COVID-19, especially the Delta variant.
According to the new directive issued this evening, high-risk occupational and business activities such as public and private educational institutions that have not yet been allowed for reopening; KTVs, nightclubs, beer gardens and casinos; resorts, museums, playgrounds, and amusement parks; massage therapy, sauna and steam businesses; alcoholic beverage outlets; cinemas, theatres, sports clubs, and fitness centres have to temporarily shut down for two more weeks.
Moreover, private gatherings of over 15 people will also be banned for the same period, but with some exceptions, it added.
Occupational and business activities and gatherings that are not restricted must carry out the health safety rules strictly, the directive underlined.
As of this morning, Cambodia's COVID-19 tally rose to 105,981, of which 18,214 have been imported. The pandemic has so far claimed 2,154 lives, but 98,655 have recovered.

Re: Curfew News and Updates
I have seen an article here: https://www.khmertimeskh.com/50939880/c ... siem-reap/
That says the current restrictions are extended for another week in Siem Reap but the article itself and a crude translation of the official document only mentions the curfew (9 - 3am) and the usual closures and number limits. It uses the same language for curfew extensions they used before the lockdown happened too. It makes no mention of extending the yellow/orange/red zones beyond today when it was up for review.
If anybody comes across anything that can confirm or deny the ending or extension of the coloured zones that would be most useful. I do not have F***book and that seems to be one of the only places other ex pats are finding local rulings on these matters. Luckily I know folks who have it which is the only way I found out about the zones a week ago but (as we all know) general dissemination of this information is p*ss poor.

Re: Curfew News and Updates
The tribe is off in the province at the moment, with SWMBO getting her next jab today.
She’s been told that Phnom Penh is ‘closed’ for two weeks, and that she can’t get back. Is this a current thing in Phnom Penh, or just part of the slow or ill informed info being passed about?
I’m due back in the next few weeks, so it will suck a lot if I come out of quarantine to an empty apartment, if this becomes one of those rolling affairs.
Although…there could be scope for a party….

AFAIK, travel is unrestricted with some local exceptions such as in Siem Reap. It's just that people must not go to the pagodas.Freightdog wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 3:05 pm The tribe is off in the province at the moment, with SWMBO getting her next jab today.

There is no reason why your family cannot return to PP (as of the current rules).
I'm pretty sure your party would contravene one of the Don'ts however.
