You don't have to understand any language to figure out what shouting, screaming, people dragging each other around the street and things getting smashed means... 8-)
Could have been a Russian wedding, were any of them wearing track suits or being taken home in wheelbarrows?

That was the idea...
Once you've been here a while you realize most of these guys wives wont let them leave the house so this is their entire social life.at least they don't have to worry about a curfew
Say it aint so...why on earth would a grown arse man let a 20 something year old run the show? Seems a bit contrary to me. :whip:
You know that tingly little feeling you get when you really like someone? That's common sense leaving your body.

Curfew to be extended if COVID-19 situation does not improve

The two-week-long curfew imposed as a temporary administrative measure would be extended if the new infections of COVID-19 remain high, according to the Ministry of Health.

“One or two weeks would be added to the currently-imposed curfew if the number of locally-transmitted cases are still high,” said Mrs Or Vandine, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Health and Chairwoman of the Ad-hoc Commission for COVID-19 Vaccination, while paying an inspection visit to the vaccination process at the Ministry of Information this morning.

She also re-appealed to people to strictly practice the health preventive measures to avoid the deadly virus infection.

On April 1, Phnom Penh municipal administration imposed a two-week-long curfew from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am, in a move to contribute to cutting off the transmission chain of COVID-19.

The 8:00 pm-to-5:00 am curfew covers eateries, coffee shops, restaurants, except takeaways, as well as gatherings, except among family members in the same house, funerals, and gatherings of health staff and competent authorities on duty.

Moreover, travelling within the Phnom Penh geographical area is banned during curfew for two weeks, except for emergency health and family reasons, medical staff, fire fighters, armed personnel, factory workers, and so on.

I didn't believe this curfew would end on day 14 anyway. Did anyone else?

They want to cancel KNY without officially doing it, thus owing staff 3 days off at some later date. Phnom Penh is like KNY every day now, it's lovely. After 8pm my street is silent, the drunken slobs that got pissed every night and got louder and louder until 11pm have all gone and even the annoying dog has nothing left to bark at.

Long live the curfew, it's like having a stroppy missus indoors insisting you are home by 7.30, without actually having to put up with one when you get home.

If anyone feels philanthropic, he can consider going to Wat Ounalom about 6.30pm any day and hand out free food or money to the cyclo drivers who congregate outside the main gate on the river side. Lovely bunch of guys who are not getting a lot of work atm.

While noble, they say 'noble intentions pave the way to hell'.

It's not as cut and dry as it may appear.

And then he said, "obviously".

Then be my guest, go around and just start handing out money. You will be sure to be, loved.
