Curfew News and Updates
Re: Curfew News and Updates
And don't forget we were told masks didn't help so no need to wear one, this was only until they had enough stocks for front line staff,Doc67 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 7:55 amBut to be fair, these were also the people who's initial public health advice last year was to wash your hands with soap and water many times a day while humming the national anthem.xandreu wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 4:02 pmIt's all about ventilation. There is much less ventilation and much less room to socially distance in a small shop compared to a large supermarket. Air conditioning also helps to circulate the air I would assume. I listen to UK radio a lot in Cambodia and there are many government ads about coronavirus. One of the main topics is about ventilation and making sure your house is well ventilated all the time.atst wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 8:19 am I'll say it again, same as what I saw in australia last year ,all the small shops were forced to close with only the big corporations, eg supermarket allowed to operate, read into this what you like but why are you safer in an aircond supermarket than an open market.
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.

The total lockdown should be extended for at least two or three months. This way we can make sure the virus is eliminated and have the additional advantage of testing the resolve of the local population in an experimental way.

I have a better idea, one word: FIRE you cant get the Kung Flu if you're dead burn it all and I guarantee 0% community transmission.beerlaodrinker wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:24 am The total lockdown should be extended for at least two or three months. Now you are just taking the "nuke it from outer space, just to make sure" approach. Very childish.xX.TROPA.Xx wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:30 amI have a better idea, one word: FIRE you cant get the Kung Flu if you're dead burn it all and I guarantee 0% community transmission.beerlaodrinker wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:24 am The total lockdown should be extended for at least two or three months. The 28th will mark the end date of the big lock down event for Phnom Penh.
What do you guys think will happen?
Extension of lock down as is for another 2 weeks?
A cessation of lock down for non red zone areas?

I think it'll be extended until daily case numbers drop significantly. Well, that's what they should do, not sure what they will actually do tbh.

Re: Curfew News and Updates
already extended for another 14 days in a couple of provinces
i expect they will announce an extension for pp over the weekend
and possibly continue until they can declare some kind of victory
in the meantime 'everyone that matters' will be vaccined
and will probably be allowed to travel
everyone else, well who cares

Re: Curfew News and Updates
Another 14 days minimum. Until infections are in the single or very low double digits they will remain shut down.
The only chance of opening before that will be when every single person they are concerned about has had their second dose of vaccine and a further 3 weeks have elapsed so it can do it's job. At that point they might just say, "fuck it, get them all back to work".
