Not Dead, Not Sick, Just Sleeping It Off
Cambodia News, (Sihanoukville): In the afternoon of 27 March 2021, a crowd gathered at the point of the Otres beach road in village 6, district 4, in Sihanoukville.
Citizens were shocked to see an old man lying motionless in the middle of the pavement in front of Otres beach shop. Many people took the man's photo, but nobody dared to get up close to see what was wrong with him, because everyone was too afraid of catching a disease.
Eventually the by-standers were relieved to discover that the man had passed out in a drunken state, and was just sleeping it off. And some kindly soul even took a parasol from outside the shop to shield the man as he slept.

How do they know he was drunk? Khmers will sleep anywhere.
Re: Not Dead, Not Sick, Just Sleeping It Off
It is methamphetamine, not alcohol that makes them take their clothes off.
