Cambodia News,(Kampong Speu): After an incident occurred where stones were thrown at a woman's house in Rokar Thom village, Kampong Speu province, on March 16, 2021, a suspect was arrested by Chbar Morn police. He also took a rifle and threatened the woman because he suspected that the victim knew how to do witchcraft, causing him pain in his hands and feet.

The suspect, Sim Sok, male, 37 years old, resides in Phum Samnang, Sangkat Rokar Thom, Chbar Morn City, Kampong Speu Province threw stones on the roof of the house of Samreth Srina, a 52-year-old female in the above-mentioned village. Not only that, the suspect took an AK 47 weapon and threatened to shoot the victim.
After his menaces toward the woman, the suspect escaped. However, the victim came to file a complaint at the Rokar Thom commune police station and the police arrived and cooperated with the Chbar Morn City Judicial Police to arrest the suspect.


The man was interrogated and police confiscated the weapon, which was hidden in a tent behind the west entrance to the suspect's house.

The suspect admitted that he had indeed done what he is accused of, because he suspected that "the victim knows how to do witchcraft, causing him to have pain in his hands and feet."
Authorities are building a case to proceed with the procedure.
