We Wanna Go Home - Two Kids on a Bicycle Get Lost on Epic Trek

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

^

A 12 and 14yo are more likely to be told to stay outside until it's dark than to be reported missing if not seen for a few hours tbh.

What is really surprising is the inability to navigate the way to Kampong Cham at that age. They must have only ever made the trip once or twice and never looked out a window

my girl friend 33 she wouldn't be able to find her way from Kampot to Phnom Pehn, and shes been all over Cambodia, I bought her a map of Cambodia to look where we going when travelling it opened her eyes a bit but still no idea.
My ex in Australia wasn't much different just can't read/understand maps
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.

Poor girls, most likely sent to Phnom Penh by the parents to work to support the family?

They probably just headed up NR 5 instead of 6.
