New law on face mask in public ?

Anyone have any details on this new law, are we going to be thrown in the pokey if we don't wear one of those face diapers while walking down the road.

Here:

Article 5 of the new law on “Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 and other Deadly and Serious Infectious Diseases” includes mandatory wearing of face masks in 'designated areas' and public spaces.

Police are stopping and handing out fines in SR to people (khmer and barang) not wearing face masks on the street. Saw it happen yesterday at the old market bridge. Remember khmer new year is only a few weeks away, so any excuse for income generating I guess. Wear a damn mask, it wont kill you, its a piece of paper over your mouth and nose, thats all. If you dont want the fine, take them to court. Haha good luck with that.

New law on face mask in public places, is there a age range in this law, and in particular is there anyone exempt.
What I am meaning by this, exempt from wearing a face mask because of medical reasons. Or young juveniles.

I would not play at the moment if any age yes in SR they working hard with people to wear mask like all over its not a recommendation no to have a mask on

That's unfortunate I guess this will be the new moneymaker for the police for the foreseeable future. Even though anything short of a respirator and full hazmat is ineffective. Like I tell everyone who asks me why I don't wear them "does underwear stop a fart, these masks won't either ".

It's OK to wear a mask now, Trump is gone. But you obviously know more than Fauci, the WHO and tens of thousands of doctors out there. I personally think that Covidiots and the tin hat brigade are the biggest obstacle to getting a grip on this.
