lol
you can pay someone to clean your toilet
decontaminate your diseased land
or your nuclear reactor
to kill an 'enemy combatant'
or just torture them
but god forbid you pay someone to give you an orgasm
.

It’s also very telling where you’ve set the bar... yup, prostitution is definitely not as bad as killing people, no argument there.

Yep, people typify themselves. And yes drug dealing is a job. Until you get caught.

Prostitution isn't bad at all, as long as it's a transaction between consenting adults. I certainly know that's not always the case, and I'm all for cracking down hard on any abuses. Other than that though, if anyone has a moral issue with prostitution itself, fuck them and their God(s).nerdlinger wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 1:17 amWait who’s been on here defending torture?Phnom Poon wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 11:36 pmlol

I think there are a lot of issues but alcohol and sex aren't going anywhere in any society. I think illegal alcohol and illegal sex just causes more problems than legalized markets because it can exist wherever people are.Alex wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 2:16 pm

Quite a few Engineers here on 10-20K per month.
There's a number of extraordinarily well paid foreigners managing large malls, restaurant chains and corporations at exec level too, all high six figure salaries.
I've had wages here myself in the past six/seven years that were very good indeed by any standards
Now in month 17 of not working and savings not what they once were, lol

People with engineering degrees were making 20k USD a month in Cambodia? What discipline? Cost of living is so low I would assume wages would be much less. The work situation is indeed seeming unfortunate.Jerry Atrick wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 3:12 pm Quite a few Engineers here on 10-20K per month.
