Tuktuk Driver Pardoned in Koh Pich Crash
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On March 8, 2021, a tuk-tuk overturned after hitting a car in the Koh Pich area in Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Khan Chamkarmorn, Phnom Penh.
Before the incident, the driver drove his tuk-tuk at high speed, smashed into a Range Rover car plate PP2AA-5291, and overturned. The tuktuk driver was seriously injured in the accident and he was sent to the hospital.
After the incident, both sides negotiated. The car driver decided to be generous and not to ask for compensation from the injured tuktuk driver, even though he caused the accident.
