4 Arrests for Selling Drugs to Sihanoukville Quarantiners
Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): In a crackdown on 8 March 2021, Sihanoukville police officers arrested four people in three separate cases of smuggling drugs to people who were in a local quarantine center.
Case 1: on March 8, at 3:30 pm, the police at the quarantine center at Chang Cheng place, in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, arrested Man Tino, a 27-year-old man, in a taxi driver, who delivered stuff to people in quarantine. The police found a pack of drugs in a cake packet. After questioning, the taxi driver said that he didn't know anything about the hidden drugs.
He then collaborated with the police to arrest two Chinese suspects who packed drugs in the cake package. The two Chinese suspects were identified as ZOU WUQI, a 32 years old man, and LIU HUA, a 22-year-old Chinese woman. The police confiscated 8 packs of drugs, 2 pills of WY, 2 passports, 4 phones, money for 71 yuan, and some drug packing equipment.
Case 2: On March 8, 2021, at 9:30 am, the police at the quarantine center in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, arrested a 25-year-old man, Chen Choch, a PassApp driver. The police found drugs in a packet of cake.
The PassApp driver didn't know anything about the drug, so he agreed to work with the police to arrest a suspect who was the cake shop owner. She was identified as HOANG THI MANH, a 28-year-old Vietnamese woman. The police confiscated 4 packs of drugs, 5 pills of WY, a phone, and a passport.
Case 3: on March 8, 2021, at 12:40 pm, the police at the quarantine center arrested a suspect who delivered food to people who were in quarantine. The police arrested a Chinese man, GAO YAHONG, a 29-year-old man, and confiscated 3 packs of drugs, a phone, and a car.
The 4 suspects with the evidence were sent to the police station for case preparation for submitting to the court.

Cambodia News,(Preah Sihanouk Province): His excellency Kouch Chamroeun, Governor of Sihanouk Province, has praised the police who detected the drug smuggling cases, and has promised that quarantine restrictions will be tightened, and that there will be further investigations.

UPDATE: Another one busted today
Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk Province): At nearly 3 pm on 10.03.2021, the police arrested a Chinese man who hid drugs in a food and drink package and gave them to a Chinese man staying in quarantine at Queenco Hotel in Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville.
Currently, the Chinese suspect and the exhibits have been sent to the Sihanoukville Provincial Gendarmerie Command for processing. (Photos from A.H.)HB News

Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk): A beautiful Vietnamese woman was arrested by the police while delivering a package of rice and drugs to another Vietnamese woman who was quarantining at the Changcheng Casino Hotel. The arrest took place at around 10 am on March 14, 2021 at the hotel.
According to the police, the suspect was Vin Kimheng, a 28-year-old Vietnamese woman who works at Karaoke 333, near the Golden Lions Roundabout in Sihanoukville. The suspect brought in a box of rice and some food for a woman named NGUYEN THUY LINH who was staying in quarantine in the Changcheng Casino Hotel. But when the guards searched the food, they found a packet of drugs concealed in the rice.
The suspects and exhibits have now been handed over to the Anti-Drug Trafficking Office of the Sihanoukville Provincial Commissioner for further proceedings.

Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): On March 14, 2021, at 8:30 pm, a 25-year-old Chinese woman, WANG SHISHI, was arrested for taking drugs to her friend who was in quarantine at the quarantine center in Sihanoukville.
The suspect, who drove a Highlander car plate SKV2B-9017, was arrested for drug trafficking and was sent to the police station to follow the legal procedure.
