Sihanoukville Police Arrest Chinese Robbing-Kidnapping Gang

Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): According to the orders of Lieutenant Choun Naren, the police chief at Sihanoukville, on March 9, 2021, his forces arrested a gang of four Chinese men for robbery, car theft, and kidnapping.

Mr. Choun Naren said that on March 7, 2021, at 5:40 pm, some locals reported seeing a robbery in front of a hotel in Sangkat 4, when two Chinese men got out of their car and attacked a Chinese man. After getting the money, the suspects drove away in the car to escape.
The victim was identified as ZHANG JINFANG, a 44-year-old Chinese casino worker, who was robbed of 400 USD.

After receiving this information, the police went to the scene and searched for the suspects. At 7:30 pm, the police at Psar Domrey 5 market saw the suspects taking another Chinese man out of their car and putting him into a new car. Following a police chase, at 8:20pm, the authorities released the victim, named as MIN SHUAI, a 34-year-old Chinese man, a worker at a massage shop.

The suspects were identified as CUI YINZHE, 26 years old, LIU DONG JIANG, 39 years old, LI JINGWEN, 32 years old, and ZHOU FEILONG, 32 years old. The police confiscated 4 phones and a car. The suspects were detained at the police station for questioning and case preparation following the legal procedure.
