road to Otres

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I will say I didn’t watch anymore than the first 5 minutes. It starts at what they’re calling Otres 3 now.
A 45 second snippet came up when I clicked, then had to click again for the full vid.
The 45 second snip is Otres 3, but I was there Jan 3. Before they’d cleaned up from New Years, if feces(human, dog, alien?) and smoldering garbage is your thing, it would be one of my number one picks.
All the things I liked about Otres are gone, that road is nicely paved, there’s a bridge across the river you waded across if you wanted quiet.
That road continues now to the airport, bypassing Bitrang and the SEZ. The turnoff is at the bottom of the hill from Bitrang, or, you can now turn right out of the airport (on an excellent road) then turn right when you get to the roundabout at the ocean.
Depressing AF IMHO, but, progress, right?
up to you...
