Article from the Khmer times long read about escapes
couple of paragraphs
What about those four Chinese women who escaped from the quarantine hotel? What happened to them? How are they now? Was there any punishment given to them?
In the beginning of the February 20 community outbreak, Prime Minister HE asked people not to discriminate against the Chinese involved in the incident. However, Chinese nationals continued to make records.

Jimmy White Snooker Club Loses License for Not Closing
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): Authorities decided to permanently close the Jimmy White Snooker Club, located in Sangkat Boeung Keng Kang III, Khan Boeung Keng Kang, on April 7, 2021, after the owners violated the orders to temporarily close the business to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
Boeung Keng Kang district said that after the February 20 community event, authorities advised all clubs to close temporarily. However, this location remained open and authorities later issued two more warnings to close. They were closed down permanently after they were found to have had Covid-19 positive people on the premises.
It was not until March 27, when some Covid-19 positive patients were traced to a visit to the snooker hall, that the authorities learned that the Jimmy White Snooker Club was operating illegally.
Tracking the Covid-19 patients to the venue was the last straw, and on April 7, 2021, the Boeung Keng Kang district authorities closed the business and revoked the license forever.

Phnom Penh authority looking for missing COVID-19 patient
Phnom Penh Municipality today said that it cannot locate a new COVID-19 patient, causing concern about the possibility of the patient spreading the virus to more people.
The missing patient is identified as a 31-year-old woman known as Va Sokhour, who tested positive for the coronavirus yesterday. Although it has been known that she is residing in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district, she “has not provided phone a number or specific address” on the form before the lab test.
The Phnom Penh authority calls for Sokhour to report to the nearest authority for treatment and ask people who have been in contact with her to go for the test and quarantine themselves.
