There's no real laundry service apart from the towels you get. They bring new towels to your door every 3-4 days, or on demand. Not sure whether they are laundered separately. But in terms of bed sheets, etc, they don't change the sheets during the stay. I don't believe there's a laundry service for clothes.

That all depends on the hotel you are quarantined at. At LCS, housekeeping cleaned the rooms every 2-3 days, which included changing all linen every time, I have detailed how thorough they were in another thread. The hotel laundry was collected daily by an outside contractor, the laundry was all sealed and the contractors collecting the laundry were also dressed head to toe in PPE. Was all conducted very professionally and in a safe manner based on my observations.

Sorry for lack of clarity on my end. I was referring specifically to Sokha since that's the place under scrutiny given the escapees etc. I'm assuming it's going to be different most places.

Sokha did however have a similar setup to what you're describing with the housekeeping folks themselves dressed head to toe in PPE. They never entered my room except on one occasion when there was an issue that needed fixing. They kept the front door to my room open during the 90 minutes or so that it took to fix the problem, and security frequently stopped by to check on progress.

Authorities have been unable to locate two people who tested positive for Covid-19 for three days since their results came back, Health Ministry spokesperson Or Vandine said on Friday.

The country is currently facing its largest outbreak of coronavirus, with 265 active cases reported by authorities, including 44 new cases announced on Friday.

The cluster emerged after four Chinese women left quarantine at Phnom Penh’s Sokha Hotel, authorities have said, with two of them later testing positive.

Vandine said Friday afternoon that authorities were currently looking for two Covid-19 patients who could not be located since they tested positive.

One was a Chinese man and the other a Vietnamese woman, she said.

“They put their address in Phnom Penh, but their address could not be found. We don’t know where they’ve gone. Authorities are searching for them,” Vandine said.
“It’s been about three days since they were found to have it,” she said.

The ministry had dealt with 13 other similar cases this week, but the individuals had already been located, Vandine added.
