Cambodia News (Kampong Cham): On February 14, 2021, a drug-addicted man, Ly Mael, 35 years old, disturbed and attacked the locals on the conjunction road in Sangkat Veal Vong, Kampong Cham. He tried to damage a police car and took off his trousers showing his penis.

A witness said that firstly the man stood in the road and attacked a couple on a motorbike. Then the deputy police inspector drove to the scene in Kampong Cham city, and the police tried to detain the man because he was standing in front of cars in the middle of the road.
However, the man resisted arrest; he attacked the police officers and tried to run away. Ten bystanders assisted in capturing the man. The police said the suspect was a drug addict and alcoholic, who sleeps on the street.

The next day, on February 15, the police contacted the rehab center to send the man there for treatment.
