Re: Traveling Heavy
Hey no, for Montenegro the requirement was that you be inside Serbia 14 days or be a US citizen. I am a usa citizen, however from what i hear, the EU is now banning Americans due to the recent CV uptick in the US. When i crossed the border, they asked nothing and gave me a stamp.xX.TROPA.Xx wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 11:23 pmAre you having to do COVID test for every country you are visiting?
Albania which is not far from here is not within the EU so should accept me, although im not sure if i need a PCR test for there. USA tourists get 90 days inside of Montenegro.

All restrictions for entry into Albania were lifted in May.Matty9999 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 11:26 pmHey no, for Montenegro the requirement was that you be inside Serbia 14 days or be a US citizen. Thanks for continuing to post about this region. I'm looking at heading to Albania in a couple months (from Vietnam).Matty9999 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 11:26 pmHey no, for Montenegro the requirement was that you be inside Serbia 14 days or be a US citizen. As far as I understand, Americans can stay ONE YEAR visa-free. If you can confirm that and give us a report on Tirana and some of the beach towns, that would be great

I may be going to hell in a bucket,
but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Im in Tirana, Albania, its not bad at all really. Similar to Belrade, although a bit smaller. Here we are now having a monsoon rainstorm which is typical for this time of year, all week..sigmoid wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 1:20 pmThanks for continuing to post about this region. Re: Traveling Heavy
I got the SE Asia itch again, now looking to go back there and do the same journey again this time without luggage or corona. I've actually gotten into the "One Bag" travel mode versus the heavy luggage, which now makes it much easier and cheaper to move around. Details in blog on my profile link, I'm still going to do the Youtube. Now im in Albania resting up, but will leave again in August to move around some more.
