Take whatever money you were going to loan/donate and throw it all in Bitcoin. You may be thanking me or cursing me in a year.

Surely the OP has to be a wind-up. What can possibly go wrong IN ANY COUNTRY when you let someone who has already maxed out their credit limit borrow a substantial amount of money? Right, you might lose it all.

It's hard to be good friends with Cambodians because eventually many of them ask for money.

Speaking from one of the truly softie gullible barang in a past life, lent Mr. Tuk Tuk funding for a tuk tuk and moto, and birdie for something else as well.Doc67 wrote:Here's a question:
How many amongst us actually have Khmer friends that would have the nerve to ask for such a business loan?
I am talking here about a real, genuine friend. Not a server in a bar or your favourite tuk-tuk, They are just acquaintances. Girlfriends are out too.
I mean someone you actively and regularly socialise with.
Contracts with terms, fingerprints, signatures.
Never got a Riel back.

I didn't add what they where doing as att didn't think it had much relavance.
Ok working 80+ hours a week with 14 staff high rent earns less than staff per hour as theyre working thier ring off to pay back debt and overheads.
To pick-up short fall of income sells online shit and stuff Cambodians want from thailand and china. This is where I fit into it
Most people from my country would work half as hard or get off they're ass for very little reward I know I wouldn't put my ass on the line like they have.
So I do admire there courage and determination but then again it is Cambodia.
I don't want to be part of it just want to help them without getting burned.
Friends have said piece of paper with finger print ain't worth shit. Do the partnership or find out actual cost and work out how many percent Im contributing to.

You’re the only one who has the answers to the questions you are asking, they are your friends, you’re the one that has the relationship with them and by the sounds of things you have already made up your mind. Most comments you received here are just generalisations, you’re the one with the answers. I have a solicitor friend that has invited me to invest on many occasions over the years, from property investment to micro finance. I trust him 100%, but have never done it, I’m not prepared to loose it at my stage. The best advice I’ve read from others here is be prepared to loose it, as in any business deals regardless of country you’re in, it’s always a risk.
Good luck to you
Good luck to you
I know the big words make your cock feel bigger, but I’m just an old truck driver keep it simple aye!

Go for it. Not every business venture is bound to fail here, plus it sounds like he has a wealthy potential client list who are more likely to purchase the product. Also this is a friend of yours, a good idea get into business with friends you can trust. I see a bunch of people trying to dissuade you, just think ....if you never swing for the fences will you ever hit a home run?
