Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On February 5, 2021, at 10:45 am, a 78-year-old German man, JURGEN GRIMM, passed away in his rented house at Sangkat Sras Chok, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.

According to the victim's girlfriend, 38-year-old Sao Socheata, she and her boyfriend had been living together for 10 years without being officially married.
In September 2020, the victim had a physical disease and he went to get treatment at the clinic in Kampot 4 or 5 times. On January 11, 2021, the victim was in a serious condition, so his girlfriend took him to San Ray hospital. The doctor found that the victim had a brain tumor. The couple couldn't afford his treatment, and the patient was elderly, so the girlfriend took him back home to care for him. On February 5, at 10:45 am, he passed away.

The local police informed the prosecutor, who called in the scientific-technical police, the criminal police, the Immigration Department, and the autopsy teams to examine the body at the scene. After the examination, Dr. Norng Sovannaroth, the autopsist, concluded that the victim had died of a brain tumor. The body of the deceased was taken to the Khmer Soviet hospital.
Condolences to his family and friends. RIP.
