Re: Dog Horror Story
While not wanting to appear harsh, after 12 years here surely the poster would be aware of the consequences of allowing your dog to roam free.

Re: Dog Horror Story
For most westerners it is unthinkable to kill and eat a dog, but in Cambodia it has become a source of meat since the war in the 70's I think most people living in KOW for any extended period of time would know the risks and heard stories about letting a loved pet dog roam free at night.
I feel for her , but this happens to khmer families too. It's not personal, it's just part of life there.

Re: Dog Horror Story
So sorry and all my sympathies to the dog-owner. That's a terrible thing to happen, but it's a reminder to keep your pets close to home. Times are tough, and getting tougher economically, so animals roaming the streets are fair game for many people. Keep your domestic pets inside at night.

Re: Dog Horror Story
I am pretty sure that barang owned dogs would have a collar/neckband. NOT ok to eat such a dog in no case. I would probably torture anyone looooong time if caught eating any of my dogs.
work is for people who cant find truffles
Re: Dog Horror Story
Why? If you're going to let your dog roam the streets pissing and shitting , best thing for them, keep the 4 legged shitting machines off the street.truffledog wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 9:16 pm I am pretty sure that barang owned dogs would have a collar/neckband. Domestic pets don't roam the streets night or day including cats
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.
