New 20USD Note coming - or NOT ?

New 20 USD coming or NOT ?

Cambodia has two legal currencies, the USD and the Khmer Riel.
If as currently considered by the US Treasury a new 20 USD is confirmed we'll see this new Note in Cambodia, too. As to the why's and how's read the article below.

emm, this is US news NOT Cambodia news and I couldn't even be bothered to move this to the 'Rest of the world'. You're skating on thin ice with some of your posts/topics TBH. As many have said already.. this is a Cambodia forum and we don't need ongoing negative, US centric and off topic posts polluting it.

Andrew Jackson removed from the $20? That would be a big shame.

One of the things I like about the US currency is it's consistency. Same faces and the same design, seemingly forever, save for a few security features on the $100. And on proper paper, none of that plastic shit.

(I know it's not pure paper, but you get my drift.)

USD isn’t an official currency nor is VND or THB but it’s still accepted.

It's not paper at all, banknotes are mostly cotton and part linen.
