Didn't think we'd see it

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

It looks like you've zoomed in or cropped it to try and make it more similar to how it appeared to you, which works, but ideally you need a telephoto lens which is why mobile phone cameras, with their typically wide-angled lenses are not very good at this sort of photography.
Nah, he just needs the latest and greatest mobile phone, probably five years from now. The sensors and lenses and algorithms in this things keep getting better and better.

For making a zillion choices, nothing beats a DSLR with a telephoto lens. For simple point and shoot and getting great pictures, nothing beats a smart phone. And it fits into a pocket, not inducing shoulder pain. And is always available to capture that moment.

Yep lugging around a big camera just for the one photo isn't worth the hassle if you're not into photography, smart phone's good enough for holiday memories. I add any new photos to my laptop screen saver and have that running beings back lots memories glancing at it as you walk past.
