Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On January 25, 2021, at 4:15 pm, a woman used a knife to attack her young stepdaughter, causing her to get seriously injured in Khan Porsenchey, Phnom Penh. The victim is named Srey Pich, 20 years old. The suspect hasn't been identified yet.



According to the neighbor, the woman has been abusing her step-daughter for a long time and almost every day. There was nobody who dared to intervene; they could only pity the girl.
On the day of the attack, the stepmother used a knife to chop the victim's head, causing her to get covered in blood. So then, the villagers called the police for help.
Nobody knows the reason why the woman attacked the girl. People said that they just saw the victim sitting and cutting the fish when suddenly, the suspect came up to her and chopped her on the head. When she saw all the blood everywhere, the suspect was scared, so she took the victim to the hospital.

At last, the neighbors talked to the police and asked them to protect the girl from her aggressive stepmother. They said they are afraid for the girl's life.
