Why wouldn't you move to Cambodia?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Scams, high incidence of hostile, rude and nasty encounters with the locals, chaotic, unsafe and being victim too many times to their whims and fancies is another uncomfortable aspect that discouraged many of us travellers from ever returning.

^^ These may simply be unique to you. Perhaps you bring out the "best" in people? Perhaps these kinds of comments lend weight to why Mark won't even engage with you? For the love of all that is holy, please can the Mods put an end to your incessant whining?

When interacting with people here, I find that they generally react to ones demeanor and respond accordingly.

Back in the early eighties I spent quite bit of time in Thailand, and a friend of mine made a comment about living there and reacting with the people, his observation was: "Living here reflects who you really are, it's like a mirror of yourself, sometimes you look into that mirror and what you see, is not fu***ing nice!"

I think she is suffering from "personality reflection syndrome"

Guarantee she’ll look nothing like that in reality, highly edited.
Although boobage might be real but then again...
