10Yo Boy Drowns While Playing with a Kite

Cambodia News (Kandal): On January 24, 2021, at 3:30 pm, a 10-year-old boy, a student in grade 3, died of drowning at Tonle Bassac river, Kbal Koh village, Saang district, Kandal. The victim's parents were identified, Yon Hab, a 43-year-old man, and Chreav Mom, a 33-year-old woman.
On the day of the accident, the victim went to play kite-flying along the river with other kids as usual. Suddenly, the victim slipped and fell into the river. Then, the other kids ran to the victim's grandfather, asking for help. The victim's grandfather and the neighbor went to the scene to search for the victim.

Unfortunately, the boy drowned, and 2 hours later, his body was found and taken out of the river. RIP.
