Cambodia News, Thailand: According to information from the authorities at the Cambodian border, who received the report from the Thai authorities, a murder took place on the night of January 22, 2021, in the dormitory of the workers of Sanseth Investment Co., Ltd. No. 142/26, located in Village 2, Nong Chhak Commune, Ban Boeng District, Chonburi Province, Thailand.

One of the key witnesses in the incident, Nat (a Thai national), told Thai authorities that prior to the incident, he received a phone call from Phut Chea (the killer) calling him to come and have a drink and talk about work for a while, but when he arrived he saw Phut Chea and his friend named Yuna (victim) were both already very drunk. The two men are Cambodian workers who have been working together for about 5 years in Thailand.

The Thai witness said that at that time, he drank a glass of rice wine with the two Cambodians, but since he couldn't understand what they were arguing about (in Khmer), he got up and left the room. Suddenly, he heard a sound like a cow being slaughtered and a scream, and when he turned around, he saw Phuth Chea standing there, holding an ax stained with blood. The victim was lying on the bed and the murderer dropped the ax and ran away.

The Ban Boeng police are currently pursuing the killer to bring him to justice.
