Woman Killed in Factory Machine Accident

Cambodia News (Kratie): On January 21, 2021, at 2 pm, a woman was killed in a work accident at the rubber factory at Dong Nay Development company, in Oupreah village, Sambor district, Kratie. The victim was identified as Mak Sophal, 50 years old.

The accident occurred when the victim went to press a button to turn off the machine, and suddenly her scarf was caught up in the machine cogs, pulling her right hand into the machine. She died immediately at the scene.

After the incident, the police went to the scene and confirmed that the victim died of an accident by getting stuck in the factory machine. After the examination, the body was returned to the family for funeral preparation. RIP.

A scarf would of pulled on more than the right hand, what a mess.

Those bits on the ground look like the coverings for those cogs.

I bet they dont get put back on.
