Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk Province): (Preliminary news) Preah Sihanouk provincial authorities initially said that a firearm was fired by a Chinese suspect, killing one Chinese man at around 9 in the morning on January 21, 2021 in front of Life Casino in Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk Province. He was at the wheel of a black Range Rover with license plate Phnom Penh 2AL-9459.



According to Major General Chuon Narin, the suspect in the shooting was driving a black Ford Raptor, with license plate Phnom Penh 2BI-1413, which was later found abandoned near Damrey 5 Market.

The Sihanoukville police chief said that specialized forces were carefully hunting down the gunmen to arrest and prosecute them according to the law. However, Lt. Gen. Chuon Narin has not been able to confirm the cause of the shooting this morning yet , because the authorities are still investigating.

Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): According to the order of lieutenant Choun Naren, the Sihanoukville police chief, after 10 hours of operations, the police had investigated and arrested 3 suspects, and they continue the search for other people in connection with the shooting on 21 January 2021. The victim, Peng Sou, 28 years old, was in his car when he was fatally shot through the heart.

To be reminded of the event, on January 21, 2021, there was a case of a Chinese man who was shot to death in front of a casino on Independence road, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville. The suspect drove a Ford Raptor car plate PP2BI-1413 chasing the victim who drove a Ranger Rover car plate 2AL-1413, then the suspect drove the car close to the victim's car and shot the victim to death. He drove off and then abandoned his vehicle for another one.
On January 27, 2021, the police reported that the 3 suspects were arrested on January 22, 2021. They have been identified as Zhang Xuan Yi, Woo Kai Jin, and Huang Kun.
