This isn't the biggest story I've read tonight, if rumours are true I think it potentially might explain the draconian sentence just handed down, and the need to cover up the most unbelievable in house issue to date. Truly bizarre.

I'm pretty sure we're all finding it a bit of a struggle being unable to travel to places where we would like to go and quite possibly rather be, but cannot due to unforseen restrictions and potential barriers to entry. Being confined to quarters and unable to pursue as active a social life as we've been used to does have its stresses. Some appear to be handling it better than others.

HE more likely copied the Thai Lese-majeste laws which have been in place for decades.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 5:30 pm taking a play out of HE's play book concerning eliminating ur opponents.

I wonder if ThaiVisa are doing some forum upgrade work tonight, I tried to catch up on Pattaya news and apparently " This community is not available ". What unfortunate timing.

Yeah I noticed that, too. They're back this morning, outages have been piling up there recently.Cowshed Cowboy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 10:57 pm I wonder if ThaiVisa are doing some forum upgrade work tonight, I tried to catch up on Pattaya news and apparently " This community is not available ". I do wonder if they are forced outages, the times it happens seem to coincide with a major sensitive news event. I don't look afterwards to see if there is an explanation for the downtime and I don't see any forewarning of planned maintenance like CEO does. Maybe it's a voluntary thing they decide on if they are worried the moderators might miss a few controversial posts at times of heightened sensitivity as is happening now.Alex wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 7:59 amYeah I noticed that, too. Not to worry gentlemen, I have it on the various highest authority from a most reliable source that political conflicts in Thailand have no effect whatsoever upon the expatriate community.
