Cambodia News (Pursat): Yat Pum, a 40-year-old man, has been arrested for attacking his drinking buddy with a knife on January 18, 2021, at 8:40 pm, while he was having a few drinks at the victim's house in Talor Senchey district, Pursat.

Before the incident, the source said the victim named Sorn Hing, 40 years old, was drinking with the suspect, who got drunk and accused the victim of stealing his phone, but the victim denied it.
However, the suspect was so angry, that he took a knife to stab his friend in the stomach. The police were called to the scene and helped to send the victim to the hospital. They arrested the suspect in possession of a bloody knife.

The suspect with evidence was sent to the district police station for case preparation.

It seems surprising in such a sunny country but is apparently a big problem;
