It's funny how houses in US look totally different from front and back. It's like they are two different buildings :D

those are not gutters in the pic, look same as what i have in the house we are building here, merely flat area under roof
most gutters in america are galvanized steel an they are not for leaves, but water run off.

do recall as a kid having to go up on the roof once/year and cleaning the gutters of the leaves and acorns till we put in screens on the gutter top

Gutters have not been installed yet. Lots of stuff to do. Closing in a few weeks.

It’s looking better and better by the day.

Builder was kind enough to include wall to ceiling tiling for the stove top vent.

The only carpeted room in the house.

Pegs on outside of both sides of the windows allow boards to be slid in and screwed in to protect against hurricane force winds.
