Cambodia News, (Ratanakkiri Province): On January 9, 2021, officers led by Brigadier General Ros Vanna, Commander of Kon Mom District Gendarmerie, with the coordination of the Deputy Prosecutor of Ratanakkiri Provincial Court, raided the site of Hang Anh Yalay Company 6, which is located in Village 3, Sre Angkor Commune, Kon Mom District, Ratanakiri Province.

A suspect who was selling drugs at Hang Anh Yalay Company was arrested by the local police force of Kon Mom district and the specialized office of the Ratanakkiri Provincial Drug Crimes Office and sent to the provincial court for legal action.

The suspect who was detained by the police was named Phean Chet (aka Det), male, 28 years old, Khmer, unspecified occupation, his hometown is Thmey Village, Khsum Commune, Snuol District, Kratie Province. He is currently staying at the 6th construction site of Hang Anh Yalai Company.

Police cordoned off the area until 4:10 pm on the same day, when the drug trafficker appeared they immediately pursued and captured him, but another man escaped into the forest.

The evidence seized included four packets of white crystals, five swords, two mobile phones and some drug paraphernalia.
