Just 14 and abused by barbarian peasants (not just her husband but Chinese parents are traditionally known to defend their sons rain or shine). That age sticks out like a sore thumb though and shows the perniciousness of human trafficking.
Three weeks ago she fled on foot to a police station seeking help, traveling about 10 km of streets she didn’t know, she said.
What a nightmarish situation to be in. Walking alone whilst pregnant (in winter!) and beaten half-dead by a violent pedophile (by definition, he is one) in a strange and vast country where nobody speaks her language. Very fortunate that police helped her contact Cambodian authorities as opposed to taking her back to that criminal's home.

Doc.
I trust you kicked your facts, before blurting definite statements. As it happens I wasn't entirely correct however I wasn't aware there was a fact checker amongst us:
In the Cathedral Close of Hereford and within the city walls of Chester it is legal to shoot a Welshman with a long bow. It is also legal to shoot a Scotsman within the city walls of York, providing he is carrying a bow and arrow, except on Sundays of course! These laws were made to keep out Welsh and Scottish invasions before Britain became united as one, and I still in effect.
I apologise profusely and humbly stand corrected.
